The Accounting Project Manager will support integrating business processes and data creation, roll-out of organization-wide S/4HANA SAP system in the finance/accounting area, assuming responsibility for Asset Accounting. The role involves collaborating with the project team to design activities derived from the SAP central template and meeting all local functional and non-functional requirements. The project manager will contribute to the design of future North American processes by engaging with appropriate U.S. business process owners to adjust the global SAP template to safeguard the global standard.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or closely related field.
  • 3 years experience in providing input for the design and implementation of S/4HANA SAP system.
  • Experience managing implementation of new asset accounting processes in FI-AA SAP module.
  • Experience leading asset accounting master data cleansing activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Experience in consulting with diverse stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to SAP global process standard designed to follow IFRS while addressing local adjustments.
  • Implement project methodology in line with global guidance.
  • Manage and conduct training activities on SAP system for large user groups.
  • Consult with business owners, leads, and subject matter experts to validate business processes, data, controls, and security solutions.
  • Ensure compliant documentation standards by engaging with diverse stakeholder groups.
