Prologis is looking to recruit an Process Automation Engineer to work within the Accounting team, focused on business process automation, within and across our Financial Applications, based in Denver, USA. We’re looking for a creative and motivated Process Automation Engineer to help us bring intelligent automation to life. As a key player in our Financial Application Solutions Team (FAST), you'll design, build, and optimize process automation using a variety of tools, including but not limited to: UiPath, Oracle AI Agent Studio, ChatGPT, Agentic and Generative AI, OCR/ML/IDP and other emerging technologies, working closely with cross-functional teams across the U.S, Europe, LATAM and APAIC. Our current automation platform is built on Uipath, so proficiency in this area is helpful. You’ll be based in our Denver office collaborating with a forward-thinking team focused on process excellence, ERP transformation, data analytics and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • A tech-savvy, solution-oriented thinker who’s excited to work at the intersection of accounting expertise, process design and automation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Accounting
  • Experience in automating processes within the Accounting and/or Finance space
  • Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and basic SQL (e.g., .NET, Python, or VB)
  • Practical experience modeling processes (BPMN 2.0) and documenting clear handoffs, controls, and exception paths
  • Strong communication and change management skills – able to engage both technical and non-technical teams
  • Passion for process improvement and user-centered solutions
  • Coordinates with Technology and the Central AI team on reuse standards/patterns and ensure automations connect cleanly to enterprise systems and data.
  • Leverage best practices in data quality, agent evaluations and governance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle AI Agents and/or RPA (UiPath) platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build & Scale Automation Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions using a variety of tools
  • Support the full automation lifecycle – from discovery and design to implementation and maintenance
  • Collaborate with our Project Managers, Developers and stakeholders to translate business challenges into smart, scalable automation solutions
  • Monitor & Optimize Own the performance and stability of our digital workforce
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure alignment with best practices
  • Work within our Financial Applications to implement, modify and configure your own automation workflow and AI Agents
  • Work with IT technical stakeholders to design, build and implement custom solutions.
  • Partner Across the Business Act as a trusted advisor to business teams and end-users
  • Share automation knowledge and advocate for innovation across departments
  • Help identify opportunities for process improvement and emerging tech integration
  • Map business processes using BPMN 2.0 standard
  • Grow & Innovate Stay ahead of automation trends and contribute to our evolving framework
  • Measure the effectiveness and value of automations.
  • Help refine our internal standards, documentation, and technical practices
  • Contribute to the long-term roadmap of automation at Prologis
