The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel is in search of a detail-oriented and timely candidate to join our accounting team as the Accounting and Payroll Supervisor. Requirements

• Four-year college degree required, preferably in Hotel Management.
• Good working knowledge of Hospitality accounting systems.
• Strong working knowledge of computer systems/programs such as PeopleSoft, Excel, etc.
• Good interpersonal skills with verbal and written communication skills.
• Good supervisory skills.
• Meet strict time deadlines.
• Able to think and act independently.
• Operate calculator, PC, Keyboard.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of customer statements by posting accounts, allowances, refunds, and payments.
• Review guest ledger accounts for timely payment receipts.
• Data entry/posting to accounts.
• Run statements and verify information.
• Assist in training and supervising accounting staff.
• Process and balance bi-weekly payroll for all hotel associates.
• File and organize payroll files.
