About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Partner to join our North America Shared Services team. This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting month-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards across our U.S. and Canadian operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, cross-border experience, and a continuous improvement mindset to help drive operational excellence in a fast-paced consumer goods environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a shared services or multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Public Accounting/Big-4 Accounting experience a plus
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/S4Hana), Reconciliation tools (Blackline)
  • Ability to interact with internal and external clients in a professional manner
  • Team player, cooperating with direct and remote teams with an end-to-end service delivery mindset
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a matrixed, cross-border team environment.

  • Public Accounting/Big-4 Accounting experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform and review general ledger accounting activities for U.S. and Canadian entities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
  • Support and participate in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financials are accurate.
  • Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple legal entities.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist with internal and external audit as needed.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies and support compliance efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to embrace digital tools.
