Position Location: NYC - Hybrid Manager Title: Senior Manager, Accounts Payable Position Summary: The Accounting Operations Specialist plays a key role in the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of Roivant’s accounting operations and ensures the accurate and timely management of all phases of the accounts payable process. This role will support the Accounting Operations team across process optimization, internal controls, reporting, and the full Procure-to-Pay lifecycle. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about data and operational excellence, and collaborates effectively across teams to ensure efficient, accurate, and compliant execution in support of broader Accounting Operations initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Enjoys solving problems proactively and creatively
  • Effective at cross-functional collaboration and a strong communicator
  • Process-oriented with an appetite for continuous improvement
  • Organized and high attention to detail
  • Strong ERP experience (NetSuite preferred) and procurement platforms (Coupa a plus)
  • Experience supporting month-end close and working in SOX-controlled environments preferred
  • Pharmaceutical experience with clinical trials a plus

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of P2P workflows and documentation of SOPs
  • Support other process optimization and system enhancement initiatives related to the accounting function
  • Partner with stakeholders to simplify, automate, or eliminate manual steps
  • Monitor process performance and continuously improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Support audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Support T&E and other card spend programs on an ad hoc basis
  • Process PO and non-PO invoices in Coupa and NetSuite with proper coding and documentation standards
  • Review and interpret vendor contracts to ensure accurate invoice setup and compliance with financial terms
  • Validate invoices for completeness, tax treatment, and compliance with Financial Authority policies
  • Manage AP inbox and vendor inquiries, resolving discrepancies proactively with Procurement, Legal, and budget owners
  • Prepare weekly and ad hoc payment runs and coordinate with Treasury on ACH and wire payments
