  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes for the manufacturing site and legal entity, in accordance with U.S. GAAP and local GAAP.
  • Perform all local reports/statistics/returns based on the local requirements.
  • Review and approve account reconciliations and journal entries for the location.
  • Handle banking transactions and ensure banking approvals.
  • Oversight of the Site Accounting Team performing accounting work; Payroll Processing, Fixed Assets process, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general ledger maintenance (accruals, reclassifications, petty cash etc.).
  • Business partner with HR to ensure accounting for payroll related functions are SOX compliant.
  • Enforce SOX internal controls, group accounting methods, policies and principles.
  • Responsible for the optimization and digitalization of work processes and special topics in accounting.
  • Support quarterly external reporting of the Group by preparing accounting and tax reporting packages.
  • Support local tax compliance with the assistance of Group tax.
  • Integration with the treasury, tax and financial controlling and FP&A teams relating to various business and accounting topics.
  • Interact with U.S. parent company finance team.
  • Assist with special projects, as needed.
  • Prepare quarterly balance sheet fluctuation analysis.
  • Work directly with internal and external auditors to provide analyses and any required audit documentation necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Certified Public Accountant.
  • Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, ideally including both public accounting and corporate roles.
  • Over 5 years of experience working in a multinational company.
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in U.S. GAAP or IFRS, as well as local GAAP.
  • Ability to operate in SAP.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Strong understanding of designing and implementing internal controls.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Process oriented with significant attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
