About The Position

The Accounting Manager at Anderson Equipment Company is responsible for overseeing all daily activities of the Accounting Department, which includes Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), invoicing, disbursements, payroll, fixed assets, and business and property taxes. This role is accountable for the accuracy of quarterly and annual financial statements, as well as conducting monthly profit and loss (P&L) analysis and cash management. The Accounting Manager will serve as the primary contact for annual financial statement and 401K audits, enforce internal controls, and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Additionally, the manager will manage and coach the accounting staff to optimize efficiency and accuracy while providing analytical and cash management support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; finance concentration is a plus.
  • Professional certification CPA or MBA in Finance.
  • 6+ years of Accounting work experience in public accounting and private industry.
  • Experience in a company with $100MM+ revenue and inventory.
  • Proven track record of achievement and ability to affect change and impact company performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to grasp financial aspects of operations and complex sales transactions.
