Prestige Stamping LLC is currently seeking candidates for the position of Accounting Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting for a mid-sized automotive stamping company. This role requires a proactive professional with strong manufacturing accounting expertise, experience in month-end closings, and the ability to manage the year-end audit process effectively.

  • Oversee the preparation and review of monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GAAP.
  • Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Manage and coordinate the year-end audit process with external auditors, preparing necessary documentation and resolving queries.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with operations and production teams to provide financial insights and support cost accounting activities.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management, offering actionable recommendations to optimize financial performance.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in month-end and year-end close processes, including audit preparation and execution.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; strong Excel skills required.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing accounting principles, including cost accounting and inventory management.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a hands-on capacity and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
