About The Position

This is a contract (1099) hourly engagement that starts part-time with hands-on accounting work — AP, AR, reconciliations, and day-to-day bookkeeping across our client base. We have a dedicated offshore team that handles the majority of the ongoing accounting work. Your job is to own the client relationship, ensure quality, and jump in wherever needed to make sure the work gets done right. As we build your book of clients, the role grows into full-time hours. Compensation is hourly and commensurate with experience. You know what good looks like — and when something's off, you fix it. You can review a reconciliation and spot the issue immediately, but you can also roll up your sleeves and do the work yourself when the situation calls for it. You're comfortable leading a team you didn't build, stepping in where needed, and owning the outcome. You thrive on technology, move fast, and want to build something.
