About The Position

SUMMARY OVERVIEW The Accounting Manager – Manufacturing oversees accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP. This role manages month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes. Additionally, the Accounting Manager helps to maintain internal controls, drive process improvements, and handles special projects as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Current on best practices, compliance, and ethical business practices
Able to act independently, exercising independent decision-making and fulfilling responsibilities with minimal supervision
Excellent teamwork skills, ability to deal with others in a professional manner
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
Pass a background check and drug screen
Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support our field operations

Responsibilities

Direct accounting processes and functions, including the timely and accurate recording and reporting of financial transactions
Oversees the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and review financial results, balance sheet reconciliations, and journal entries for compliance
Maintains highest level of accuracy on inventory balances
Ensures accuracy between NetSuite and the main system of record (Sage X3)
Prepare reports for business activity and other reports as requested by management
Responsible for the maintenance of effective internal controls
Develop and implement process improvements/make recommendations
Complete special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed
May be assigned other duties as required
Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
