We are currently seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to join our internal team and play a key role in managing financial operations and payroll. What You’ll Do As the Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee all day-to-day accounting activities, lead internal payroll processing, and provide accurate financial insights to support business decisions. You will be a critical link between departments and an essential part of maintaining our financial health and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of accounting experience (2+ years in management or supervisory role)
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong financial reporting experience
  • Proficiency in Paycom (required)
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, payroll processing, and internal controls
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with QuickBooks and Greenshades a plus
  • Experience in a staffing, service, or payroll-heavy environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and monthly closings
  • Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal reporting standards
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff
  • Work closely with HR, staffing, and executive teams to support strategic goals
  • Provide financial insights to leadership for informed decision-making
  • Maintain and enforce internal accounting policies
  • Assist with audits and ensure accurate documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations
  • Assist in developing annual budgets and financial forecasts
  • Conduct variance analysis and report on operational trends
  • Manage internal payroll through Paycom
  • Maintain payroll records and oversee reconciliation
  • Use tools including QuickBooks, Greenshades, Paycom, and Bullhorn for financial and payroll reporting
