About The Position
Kforce's client, a major service organization, is adding an Accounting Manager to their team in Red Bank, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity (bonus eligible) that and offers exceptional fringe benefits as well as with room for growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-10+ years of professional experience in construction, architecture or engineering accounting
- GAAP, SOX, and Regulatory Reporting with government subcontractor experience
- Leadership experience with supervising and developing staff
- Exceptional communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
Nice To Haves
- CPA preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Manage accounting functions such as the General Ledger, AP, AR, and Internal Controls
- Manage US GAAP compliance, closings, subsequent financial statement preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, inter-company and subsidiary reporting, as well as expense and variance analysis
- Support annual and operational audits
- Foster collaboration and sharing of strategic information for use by internal partners
- Supervising, mentoring, and succession planning staff
