About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our Consulting team. This role is ideal for a well-rounded accounting professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys partnering directly with clients across multiple industries. Youll oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage month-end close processes, and provide meaningful financial insights that drive business decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting.
• Experience in multiple industries is preferred (manufacturing, construction, non-profit, etc.).
• Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively with executive leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Tax preparation or audit experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, month-end, and year-end close processes for multiple client entities.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff or consultants as needed.
• Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with client leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure accuracy in reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting deliverables.
• Partner with external auditors and tax preparers during annual reviews.
• Provide strategic recommendations to improve accounting systems and procedures.
• Stay up to date on accounting regulations and industry trends.
