Requirements

• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business (required)
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Demonstrated experience improving accounting controls, systems, and processes
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP
• Experience managing month-end and year-end close in a deadline-driven environment
• A proven people leader who is passionate about developing and motivating teams
• Strong track record of supervising, delegating, and prioritizing accounting functions
• Detail-oriented professional with a continuous improvement mindset
• Collaborative leader who communicates clearly and effectively

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
• Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and related reporting
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial regulations
• Evaluate, enhance, and implement accounting controls, systems, and procedures
• Partner cross-functionally to support business growth and operational excellence
