About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and support ongoing business growth.

In this role, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, ensuring accurate inventory control, and contributing to the implementation of a new Point of Sale (POS) system as part of the company’s continued operational enhancement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficient with QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, and advanced Excel.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Nice To Haves

• CPA certification a plus!
• Background in retail, wholesale, or fresh produce industries highly preferred.
• Experience with POS system rollouts is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to expert for daily finance operations.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Oversee Sales Revenue Audits and ensure financial accuracy.
• Maintain and reconcile General Ledger and Balance Sheet accounts.
• Lead the implementation of a new POS system to streamline transactions.
• Support Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting activities.
• Perform Data Analysis to guide smarter business decisions.
• Maintain inventory control and track asset movements accurately.
• Prepare and post journal entries across multiple entities.
• Assist with month-end closings and generate monthly financial statements.
