About The Position

Xpressdocs is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, supervise accounting staff, and maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations. In this position, you will be responsible for: Supervising Accounting Staff: Manage and mentor accountants, review their work for accuracy, and ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including budget reports, cash flow analyses, and departmental performance summaries. Budgeting and Forecasting: Monitor organizational spending and provide department forecasts to actuals to guide management decisions. Compliance and Audits: Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, coordinate internal and external audits, and resolve discrepancies. Process Improvement: Develop and implement accounting procedures, optimize financial operations, and recommend improvements to business processes. Tax Planning and Reporting: Oversee tax compliance, prepare corporate tax filings, and ensure timely submission of all required reports. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred but not necessary depending on experience.
  • Experience: 2–5 years in accounting or finance roles, with prior supervisory experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Highly knowledgeable in GAAP.
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills to effectively present financial information to stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA certification preferred but not necessary depending on experience.
