About The Position

Position Responsibilities: Timely preparation, analysis, and review of financial statements and summaries Knowledge of various systems and software to translate financial impact Preparation, analysis, and reporting on key financial variances in support of operational decisions Ability to explain and speak to financial results and drivers Partnering and collaborating with various business areas to identify opportunities for improvements Oversight and coordination of all division budgeting and forecasting activities, providing support and guidance to management and staff while ensuring timely completion Monitor and ensure compliance with evolving accounting guidance, collaborating across the organization to ensure consistencies and synergies in processes and controls Accurate and timely completion of account reconciliations in compliance with company policy Hire, train, and manage division accounting staff Provide training and guidance on all aspects of the financials Ownership of the financial aspects of projects and/or initiatives including budgeting, cost tracking, and variances analysis. Involves working closely with other project team members and ensuring projects are delivered on time. Other duties as assigned Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of SCM, PeopleSoft and Monarch preferred. Work effectively in developing and maintaining productive working relationships with a variety of people at all levels of the organization. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
