About The Position

Symbiotic Services is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to join a global, multi-entity organization. This role oversees core accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance, while supporting a fast-growing business with international operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting preferred)
• Experience in multi-entity, global environments
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards
• Advanced Excel and ERP system experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close across global entities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial statement review
• Own consolidated financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Provide technical accounting guidance (revenue recognition, lease accounting, intercompany transactions)
• Oversee audit processes and serve as primary liaison with external auditors
• Partner cross-functionally on cash activity, banking transactions, and reconciliations
• Support tax reporting with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Mentor team members and drive process improvements
• Collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment
