Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification
  • 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
  • 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
  • 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
  • Experience working cross functionally across several teams
  • Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
  • Experience in oral and written communication
  • Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
  • CPA and/or Big 4 firm experience
  • Mastery of accounting operations and best practices
  • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
  • Aptitude for information technology

Responsibilities

  • Lead the month-end financial close process with precision and strategic insight
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial metrics, identifying and investigating significant variations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with tax, inventory, legal, and compliance teams to ensure comprehensive financial oversight
  • Develop and implement process improvements that enhance organizational efficiency and financial reporting
  • Analyze new business offerings and contracts to ensure robust revenue recognition and compliance
