About The Position

The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for management of the accounting staff while overseeing a full range of corporate accounting activities, incorporated into the monthly close cycle, including monthly journal entries, assistance with financial statement preparation and account analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years accounting experience including 2 years in a leadership role
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Experience in a corporate consolidations function with international operations
  • SAP system experience (S4 Hana experience preferred)
  • Organization, analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Innovative and able to thrive in a fast paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Strong investigation and follow-up skills
  • Ability to build strong and trusting relationships across the team.
  • Ability to analyze data from multiple sources
  • Ability to direct the work of others

Responsibilities

  • Ensure transactions are recorded in conformity with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Oversee intercompany and transfer price mark-up eliminations, foreign currency translations, and investment in subsidiaries activity.
  • Oversee segment reporting and requisite allocations/elimination activities
  • Partner with Accounting Systems, technology, and project teams to define future state consolidations processes
  • Partner with the Technical Accounting Group to ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with U.S. GAAP
  • Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support the revenue accounting team where applicable in preparing account reconciliations, etc.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process and system improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports and analysis
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
  • Ensure compliance with Internal Controls and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Controls and regulations and requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the Company’s core values.
