Looking to develop your career at the forefront of a rapidly expanding industry? Tilray's Beer Division is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our beverage finance team in Atlanta. This role will report directly to the Controller and support the business with accounting, financial analysis, and special projects at our flagship SweetWater brewery in Atlanta. This position will play a key role in the financial reporting process, technical accounting research, consolidation, annual audit, and other projects as needed to support and expand the business. This role works with our U.S. craft beverage brands, including but not limited to: SweetWater Brewing, Montauk Brewing, Green Flash Beer, Alpine Beer, 10 Barrel Brewing, Red Hook Brewing, Widmer Brothers, Blue Point Brewing, Breckenridge Brewery, Hop Valley Brewing, Revolver Brewing, Atwater Brewing, Terrapin and Shock Top. Our ideal candidate would have industry experience and background using OBeer (SAP) and Toast accounting software. This is a Full-Time Permanent opportunity based in Atlanta, GA.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in an accounting role that shows progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory.
  • Experience in US GAAP accounting and reporting.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference given to candidates with manufacturing background and prior supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and presentations for internal reporting to Leadership and external reporting required by the SEC and other third parties.
  • Support monthly accounting close and consolidation through timely preparation and review of journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis to prior periods and budget to identify potential financial and operational efficiencies.
  • Manage intercompany activity between all U.S. locations and collaborate with regional accounting partners on an ad hoc basis.
  • Work across departments to provide accounting insight behind operational decisions.
  • Support for systems implementation and integration activities as it relates to business and financial process improvements.
