This is a 100% remote position but candidates are expected to report into our Rosemont, IL HQ during onboarding (3 Months) and would require 25% domestic travel. The role involves providing strategic direction, team development, and process leadership for a large complex growing business while assisting the Assistant Corporate Controller in designing an effective and efficient Finance organization. The candidate will lead the change management process for the accounting team and be a key developer of talent for the organization. Responsibilities include managing the monthly close process, including preparation of financial statements, reconciliation of GL accounts, and leading business initiatives and strategies, including system rollouts, integration of new acquisitions, process improvements, and the external audit process. The candidate will also manage the governance over key systems in VIP, including fixed assets, treasury, leases, and other general ledger systems, and develop financial reporting tools in Power Bi or other data reporting tools.
