Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or management experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Proficient in ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Lead and mentor accounting staff, fostering a positive and high-performing team culture
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve workflow and internal controls
• Partner with senior leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax preparers, and other financial partners
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
• Assist with process improvement projects and system implementations as needed
