Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounting Manager/Senior. Accountant. This role plays a crucial role in our organization's financial operations and decision-making processes. Job Overview As the Accounting Manager/Senior. Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's accounting functions, with a particular focus on manufacturing accounting. This role requires a deep understanding of General Ledger operations, manufacturing cost accounting, and financial reporting. You will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial records, develop and implement accounting policies, and provide valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the company's accounting operations, including General Ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
  • Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation
  • Manage the manufacturing cost accounting system, including inventory valuation, cost allocation, and variance analysis
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for process improvement
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies
  • Oversee tax compliance and reporting, including income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes
  • Implement and maintain robust financial systems and software to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior management for strategic decision-making
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of all financial information and records
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
  • Strong proficiency in General Ledger operations and financial statement preparation
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Advanced skills in Excel and proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Extensive experience in manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management a plus
