Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in accounting and office management in the construction sector
• Experience with AICPA guidelines
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with QuickBooks for Accounting

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage financial processes to improve efficiency and ensure accountability and accuracy
• Perform detailed reconciliations of accounts, including general ledger, bank statements, project related accounts and oversight of 3rd party vendors for A/R and A/P to ensure timely and accurate billing and payments
• Manage office tasks through effective communication with other department managers and executive leaders
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations
• Conduct regular work-in-progress (WIP) reviews to monitor project status/costs, revenues, and profitability
• Prepare and present monthly reports to include financial statements, projections, performance metrics, and variance analysis, and forecasting
