About The Position

The Accounting Manager will oversee the General Ledger team and support the company's month-end and quarter-end close processes. This role requires a motivated individual with at least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, focusing on accuracy and compliance in financial reporting and audits.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience and knowledge in month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Strong understanding of accounting, reconciliation, and audit processes.
• Experience with SOX reviews and analytics.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of GAAP.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor is a plus).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• Strong PC skills with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the General Ledger team.
• Support the month-end and quarter-end close processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Review and approve reconciliations and balance sheets.
• Conduct audits.
• Review individual entity quarterly SOX analytics and summarize for the total company level.
