About The Position

Join our dynamic Accounting Department and put your fast-paced, detail-oriented skills to work in a collaborative, team-focused environment. As Accounts Payable Manager, you will lead a team responsible for high-volume invoice processing using an automated workflow system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the accounts payable cycle. You will oversee implementations and upgrades of our automated workflow system and e-payables program, driving continuous process improvement and operational excellence. In this leadership role, you will supervise team performance, manage employee recruitment and development, and maintain strong departmental processes and internal controls. You will also be assigned general month-end close tasks contributing to the accuracy and timeliness of company financials. Your responsibilities will include managing and improving AP processes using technology-driven solutions, overseeing invoice processing and vendor inquiries, executing AP check runs, and ensuring proper documentation and approvals.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Experience in managing an Accounts Payable team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with automated workflow systems for document routing and approval.
  • Experience with Hyland OnBase or comparable platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Motivation to continuously learn and improve processes.
