About The Position

The MVS School of Business and Economics seeks a pool of qualified applicants for possible temporary, part-time teaching of accounting classes. These positions are filled on an as-needed basis and recruitment is ongoing. Assignments include in-person and synchronous online courses, during the day and evening.

Requirements

• MS in accountancy with active professional and industry experience or a PhD in Accountancy.
• Demonstrate the commitment to effectively work with and engage a diverse student population.
• Evidence of how they would successfully mentor minoritized students with special focus on Latinx, Black/African American, American Indian, and Asian/Asian American/Pacific Islander students.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching experience in accounting.
• PhD in accountancy.
• 5+ years full-time work in accounting.

Responsibilities

• Teach one or more classes as assigned and as student demand requires.
• Conduct and turn in assessment activities as outlined each semester.
