About The Position

Are you seeking a paid Internship with a strong company where you will be mentored and gain invaluable experience? If yes, then Tree Top has an exciting opportunity for you at our Corporate Office in Selah, WA. The ideal candidate will have completed at least one year of accounting coursework with a minimum 3.0 GPA and be planning to pursue or is actively enrolled in an Accounting or Finance degree program at the Baccalaureate level or higher. The incumbent should have a strong motivation to build a career in their field of study. This full-time, paid Internship will begin in May/June 2026 and conclude 90 days from first worked day. Start/end dates are flexible to meet school schedule.

Requirements

• Completed at least one year of accounting coursework.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Planning to pursue or actively enrolled in an Accounting or Finance degree program at the Baccalaureate level or higher.
• Strong motivation to build a career in their field of study.

Responsibilities

• Learn methods of analyzing the general ledger and how information is integrated into financial statements.
• Develop techniques to reconcile accounting on the general ledger and how to resolve discrepancies.
• Gain a further understanding of the accounting systems and the monthly accounting and reporting cycle.
• Learn the process of preparing audit work papers as well as various tax schedules.
• Develop an understanding of the accounting software Tree Top uses.
• Develop a skill set of gathering questions and asking appropriate personnel for assistance.
• Develop skills required to interact with other professionals at varying levels.
• Develop time management skills and the ability to be responsible for more than one project at a time.
