About The Position

The Accounting Intern position at PACCAR offers a paid summer opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in plant cost accounting. Interns will work closely with experienced accounting staff, participating in various financial analyses and supporting the month-end closing process.

Requirements

• Completed 50% or more of the requirements for an undergraduate degree in Accounting.
• GPA of 3.0 or above in major.

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end closing process including journal entry and analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, and financial statement tie out.
• Prepare financial analysis of materials and inventory.
• Assist with vendor maintenance, fixed asset audits, and preparation for physical inventory count.
• Participate in the physical inventory count.
• Assist in Sarbanes Oxley audit which includes testing controls and evaluating control efficiency and design.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
