Kamehameha Schools is seeking two (2) Accounting Interns to support its Accounting Department! The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in accounting, has great attention to detail, organizational skills, proficiency with technology, strong communication skills, adaptability, and strong interest in pursuing a career in accounting. This internship will run from late May through August 2026; specific dates will be flexible to the selected candidates’ schedule. Interns will work up to 24 hours per week. Interns must be on-island for the duration of their internship. Job Summary Interns are responsible for adhering to the program parameters of an internship plan for the assigned department(s). Such a program plan is intended to give exposure to the intern of key processes and workflows of the assigned department(s) and to help the intern gain real-world knowledge of business operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Enrolled in a post-secondary education program, or have graduated within the previous year.
• Proficient in the use of the PC/Mac and standard office software.

• Responsible for adhering to intern program guidelines in the department(s) assigned.
• Must complete a variety of tasks designed to give maximum exposure to work processes.
• Position expected to learn new and improve existing skillsets and apply them to practical situations at Kamehameha Schools.
