Milhaus Summer Internship Experience Spend your summer with us! The Milhaus Summer Internship Experience is an 8–12-week program designed to give future professionals meaningful workplace experience. Position Summary As a Summer Corporate Accounting Intern at Milhaus, you will have the opportunity to gain professional experience and add real value to our accounting department.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally specializing in accounting, corporate finance, economics or business
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem analysis
  • Stress tolerance to manage multiple tasks across various projects simultaneously
  • Interest in future full-time employment with Milhaus post internship experience

Responsibilities

  • Compile and prepare financial information
  • Shadowing members of the Accounting department with various other duties
  • Assist with month end close process and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Analyze data to identify areas of opportunity and efficiency
  • Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations
  • Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
