About The Position

Join The Dinerstein Companies (TDC) as an Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience with a premier national developer of multi-family and student housing. Based at our Houston headquarters, you will contribute to our mission of creating the best places to live.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees.
• High standard of accuracy, attention to detail, and a desire to learn withing a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Accounts Payable related tasks, including bill workflow processing and vendor set up.
• Assist with bank reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly accounting tasks, including preparation and recording of journal entries.
• Assist in the closing process as needed, including the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
