About The Position

Morgan Properties is seeking a college student to intern with our Accounting department for the Summer of 2026. Our Accounting Intern will gain experience in a fast-paced environment supporting the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, month-end tasks, and special projects with a variety of day-to-day responsibilities. This is a paid internship starting on May 18th and ending August 7th. This position is based out of our office in Conshohocken with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm. The in-office days are Monday-Thursday, with Friday being the option to work remotely. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited University or College.
  • Academic standing as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior.
  • Process toward bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business management/administration required.
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiency (emphasizing Excel).
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and motivated.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a diverse group of talented individuals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing and recording journal entries.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Help maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and workpapers.
  • Support external audit requests as needed.
  • Complete ad hoc projects for the accounting team as needed.
