About The Position

Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Accounting Department. You will work with a dynamic team of professionals, gaining valuable experience in corporate business operations while also building your skills in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Responsibilities Efficiently manages data entry and organization in both databases and spreadsheets while upholding strict confidentiality and meticulousness. Collaborate effectively with accounting associates and demonstrate flexibility in completing assigned tasks as needed. Maintain accurate and well-organized files by properly filing paperwork in accordance with established filing procedures. Accurately key vendor invoices as needed, ensuring efficient and timely processing. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and understand company-wide general ledger (GL) codes. Review and monitor the status of contractor invoices to determine eligibility for payment processing. Prepare credit card reconciliation forms accurately and confidentially, as required. Other tasks as assigned to help the operation operate effectively and efficiently Qualifications 1. College coursework in business administration, majoring in a field such as accounting. 2. Preference for someone planning to graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Accounting and who intends to eventually become a CPA. 3. Previous work experience in a corporate or office environment preferred, but not required. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a Part Time position, 20 hours a week, with work hours during the regular business hours which are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Travel Some local travel may be expected for this position. Special Requirements 1. Possession of a valid state of residence driver’s license. Requirements
