About The Position

This Accounting intern will participate in a rotational program across Sun Day Red (SDR) Accounting, Financial Reporting, and TaylorMade (TM) US and CA Accounting teams. This rotation is designed to provide hands-on exposure to core accounting processes, financial statement preparation, and operational support within a dynamic, multi-entity environment. This internship provides hands-on support for SDR, Financial Reporting, and TaylorMade US and CA Accounting as well as help improve efficiency in month-end close, financial statement preparation, and daily accounting operations.

Requirements

  • Highest standards of ethics and integrity, with the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Basic understanding of US GAAP and accounting
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical, reasoning, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work across teams and manage priorities to accomplish multiple tasks
  • Passion for sports required, with passion/interest/knowledge for golf strongly preferred
  • Expectations are you will be available onsite for the entirety of our summer internship program: Dates are from 6/1/2026 – 8/7/2026
  • Pay rate: $20 per hour
  • Undergraduate, completed junior or senior year of Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting

Responsibilities

  • Support month-end close activities for SDR and TM US and CA Accounting, including preparing journal entries, organizing balance sheet reconciliations, preparing flux meeting explanation and assisting with cash reconciliations.
  • Help with daily accounting tasks such as preparing daily cash files, maintaining fixed asset records, and assisting with preparation of prepaid schedules.
  • Assist the Financial Reporting team with roll forward, the consolidated financial statements and preparation of footnote disclosures, assist with Ad-Hoc projects as needed.
  • Maintain organized documentation of tasks, learnings, and workflows to support team operations.
  • Attend team meetings, check-ins, and training sessions to stay aligned with project priorities and close timelines.
  • Responsible for delivering financial statements including updated MD&A
