The Opportunity Halo Industries is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Intern to join our Finance team. As an Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the financial audit process and gain systems experience in various accounting systems including NetSuite. You will support the accounts payable process, and you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records. You will work collaboratively with various departments and vendors to support the financial operations of the company.

Requirements

Pursuing an accounting or finance undergraduate degree
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Assist in data integrity project for corporate dashboard, used to monitor spending patterns over time and against Plan.
Support the annual financial audit by meeting documentation requests from the auditors.
Assist with processing vendor invoices, including coding and data entry into NetSuite.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records to support the AP process.
Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable and other accounting areas.
Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.
