About The Position

We work with healthcare organizations big and small to find the right physicians and advanced practitioners to provide quality patient care. This is a dynamic internship opportunity within the rapidly growing healthcare industry. The Internship starts in May 2026 and goes through July 2026. Each Intern will receive in-depth training and have responsibilities that mirror what full-time associates do at Jackson and Coker to help gain direct experience for their future career endeavors. This is a chance to make an impact and transform lives in communities near and far. The Accounting Intern will be responsible for a wide variety of accounting department responsibilities including transaction processing, preparation of analysis, and other support functions. This position requires someone with initiative and attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of Basic Accounting Processes.
  • Final year student at an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
  • Previous Accounting Internship experience or exposure to an accounting discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support routine accounting transaction processes.
  • Assist with the preparation of basic financial analysis.
  • Participate in process improvement projects.
