Requirements

• Major(s): Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Completion of Cost Accounting Course preferred
• Class Year(s): Rising Junior, Rising Senior
• GPA: Min 3.0
• Availability: Must be available to work in Grand Junction, CO full time during Summer 2025 and part time for remainder of school year (local candidates preferred)
• Technical Skills: Strong Excel and Keyboarding skills
• Leadership Skills: Effective Communication, Attention to Accuracy and Detail, Excellent Analytical and Problem Solving Skillsets, Time Management

Responsibilities

• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Compute and prepare data for journal entries
• Research Purchase Price Variance and Order Cost Variance
• Review purchasing transactions for taxability; prepare sales tax reports
• Prepare Accounts Receivable reports to review with management
