(HYMH), a world-class manufacturer of industrial forklift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for a developing and emerging business student at our Americas headquarters located in Greenville, NC. This part-time internship requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week, with a minimum duration of 6 months and the potential to extend up to 18 months. The start date is as soon as possible. As an Accounting Intern, you will work in a financial services environment supporting manufacturing processes such as: Accounts payable, Sales invoicing, Cash application, and Sales tax. This role provides exposure to various facets of a manufacturing business environment, where finance and accounting processes have upstream and downstream impacts. The work environment is high volume and fast-paced, dealing with multiple currency transactions, balance sheet account reconciliations, and various software applications, including SAP. Interns will gain experience in both manual and electronic document processing, including automated systems such as: 3-way match processing, OCR (Optical Character Recognition), and Journal Entry (JE) uploads. Our finance team is highly focused on accuracy, efficiency, and internal control. Interns will also gain audit exposure, including: External Auditors, Corporate Internal Auditors, SOX Auditors, and Sales Tax Auditors.
