About The Position

Russell Standard is seeking 2026 Summer Interns for our Accounting Department. The Accounting Internship is based out of our corporate office in RIDC Park, Blawnox, PA. This is an opportunity to learn alongside a team committed to providing learning, development, and hands-on work experience! As an Accounting Intern, you will have an opportunity to participate in the accounting and financial reporting cycle of a private company. Your primary responsibility will be ensuring certain expenses are properly recorded (Accounts Payable), you may assist in researching variances to budget and the preparation of financial reports for senior management. This is a 10 to 12 week part time paid assignment, working 3 days per week.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Attention to detail - able to complete tasks with high level of accuracy
• Able to learn and support developing information for financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel
• High level of organization and ability to manage to deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other team members
• Able to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Ensure certain expenses are properly recorded (Accounts Payable)
