About The Position

The Accounting Instructor position at Shoreline Community College is a full-time, tenure-track role that requires an on-campus presence. The successful candidate will help students master skills in accounting and gain foundational knowledge of broader business concepts. Responsibilities include teaching accounting courses such as Financial and Managerial Accounting, advising students, assessing instructional methods, developing programs and curricula, and participating in governance and advisory meetings. The position also involves supporting the Shoreline Community College chapter of DECA. Requirements

• Master's degree in Accounting or Business with a minimum of 15 graduate credits in accounting, or closely related field.
• Two years of full-time work or teaching experience in accounting, business management, finance, or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and learning management systems.
• Proficiency in relevant technological tools and software used in accounting education.

• Effective oral/written communication with individuals at all levels inside and outside the College.
