About The Position

This position is responsible for staff accounting functions in the Accounting Department of altafiber.Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of reports that are filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, including quarterly financial statements (Form 10-Q), annual financial statements (Form 10-K), employee benefit plans (Form 11-K), and other reports Perform various analyses of the Company's financial results Assist with the monthly close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations Assist with special projects as needed

Requirements

• Candidate pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• Must have completed introduction to accounting classes.
• Must have a 3.6 GPA or higher.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• No previous job experience, certification, licenses, or other experiences required
