About The Position

As an Accounting/Finance Intern you will be provided with opportunities to develop an understanding of John Deere's products and services, establish a network of people to support personal and professional growth, and to gain experience in one of the following areas: Factory Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Financial Analysis, Internal Audit, Tax and Treasury. Interns typically perform various professional accounting or finance projects which include coordinating, preparing, and analyzing financial information. The majority of our internship experiences are offered in the summer months, usually lasting 12 weeks. Projects may include some of the following: Complete process improvements projects by utilizing finance automation techniques, gain an understanding of useful financial software tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.), gather, review, and analyze financial information, develop professional skills through networking and interaction with Deere leaders, and work cross functionally to solve business problems.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics or related major
• Minimum of 6 credit hours completed in Accounting courses by the start of the internship
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale required
• Must be able to relocate domestically
