Herbal Goodness is a fast-growing wellness company committed to providing premium herbal teas, liquid extracts, superfoods, and supplements that support healthy living and impact lives. We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and execution-focused Finance & Operations Lead to help strengthen our financial discipline, improve operational efficiency, and support scalable growth across our e-commerce, inventory, and supply chain functions. The Finance & Operations Lead will play a critical role at the intersection of accounting, financial operations, inventory management, tax support, and e-commerce operations. This individual will be responsible for maintaining strong financial processes, supporting day-to-day operational execution, and providing reporting and insights that enable leadership to make sound decisions. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional with strong QuickBooks Online expertise, excellent analytical ability, and hands-on experience supporting a product-based or e-commerce business. We are seeking a highly capable QuickBooks Online Accounting, Tax & Operations Expert with strong e-commerce experience to support the day-to-day financial and operational management of our growing wellness business. This role requires someone who understands both accounting/bookkeeping and operational execution across online retail channels such as Amazon Seller Central, Walmart, and Shopify. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in managing finance and operations in an inventory-driven business. We are looking for a professional who can help manage purchase orders, receiving, vendor relationships, accounts payable and receivable, inventory management, tax filings, payroll support, and reporting, while also supporting our bookkeeper and strengthening our internal financial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain QuickBooks Online (QBO) accurately and consistently
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Oversee purchase orders, receiving, and vendor records
  • Support and improve inventory management, receiving, stock tracking, and reconciliation
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate follow-up on invoices, payments, and delivery issues
  • Work across Amazon Seller Central, Walmart, and Shopify to align orders, inventory, payouts, and financial records
  • Support sales tax and business tax filing preparation and tracking
  • Assist with 1099 preparation and filing support
  • Assist with W-2 and payroll-related filing support
  • Support the bookkeeper by ensuring financial data is clean, categorized, reconciled, and audit-ready
  • Help prepare financial reports, management reports, and operational analytics
  • Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial accuracy
  • Monitor and report on inventory levels, purchasing needs, stock discrepancies, and receiving issues
  • Help build and improve workflows between accounting, operations, inventory, and sales channels
  • Identify errors, gaps, and opportunities for stronger financial and operational controls
