About The Position

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a hybrid Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis Intern. You will work closely with experienced professionals to support various financial tasks, including:
Accounting: Assist with general ledger tasks, account reconciliations, journal entries, monthly close review and financial statement preparation.
FP&A: Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Develop financial models and reports to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• To qualify for this internship, candidates must be enrolled as a junior or senior in college
• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting with a GPA of 3.2+
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
• Pivot Tables, Vlookup Formulas, etc.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior internship or work experience with excel
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close procedures, including accruals, fixed assets, and other journal entries
• Prepare financial reports and analyses
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, including data collection, analysis, and model development
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed
• Present a unique perspective to the business and propose a solution
