About The Position

MRI Software is looking for an Accounting Data Management Intern to join our team focused on our Investment Solutions product line. This internship will focus on and provide administrative support for clients’ use of MRI’s in-house software applications. Interns will collect data and documents from various sources and process monthly, quarterly, and annual financials and other data within contracted service levels. The team is looking for an individual who can join the team for Spring 2026! This will be a remote position, working within business hours around your school schedule!

Requirements

• Able to Work 20-30 hours/week (flexible schedule)
• Pursuing a Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Housing, or Property Management
• Experience with Microsoft Excel
• Basic Knowledge of Finance or Accounting Principles (Balance Sheets & Income Statements)
• Self-motivated Learner
• Organized & Attentive to Detail

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MS SQL or Excel Macros is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collect documents containing financial investment data from various sources and upload into client databases.
• Prep, process, and review monthly financials, rent rolls, and other data types within contracted service levels.
• Learn and use MRI's proprietary in-house data processing software applications.
• Provide administrative support for clients' use of in-house software applications as needed.
• Monitor for published documents on syndicator sites.
• Assist Data Management analysts and managers with other projects and tasks as needed.
