About The Position

Under the supervision of the Assistant Controller, the Accounting Coordinator is responsible for general accounting administrative duties and support. Specific duties and responsibilities listed below:

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a financial environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Review, code and entry of invoices and monthly utility bills.
  • Process purchase orders submitted by trades, for payment.
  • Weekly filing of payment detail and backup.
  • Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data and communicates financial information to department heads.
  • Assist in adhoc research, reconciliation, or audit projects as needed.
