Accounting Controller The Accounting Controller will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and strengthen internal controls across the organization. As our Accounting Controller, you'll play a central role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization. Key responsibilities include:

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance, or a related field, with at least three years of accounting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Experience with accounting software and financial systems
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

Assist in leading day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all financial activities
Develop clear, accurate financial reports that provide leadership with meaningful insights for decision-making
Establish, maintain , and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll oversight, and reconciliations
Develop and implement streamlined accounting processes and systems to support organizational growth
Partner with leadership to provide financial insights, budgeting support, and strategic recommendations
Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies as needed
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements
Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key metrics to support informed decision-making
Support cross-functional teams with financial data, analysis, and reporting needs
Build and maintain a well-structured financial calendar to ensure all reporting and compliance deadlines are met consistently and on time
Design and implement a robust two-step approval process for payments
