Accounting Controller The Accounting Controller will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and strengthen internal controls across the organization. As our Accounting Controller, you'll play a central role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization. Key responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Finance, or a related field, with at least three years of accounting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Experience with accounting software and financial systems
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist in leading day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all financial activities
  • Develop clear, accurate financial reports that provide leadership with meaningful insights for decision-making
  • Establish, maintain , and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll oversight, and reconciliations
  • Develop and implement streamlined accounting processes and systems to support organizational growth
  • Partner with leadership to provide financial insights, budgeting support, and strategic recommendations
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory agencies as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements
  • Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key metrics to support informed decision-making
  • Support cross-functional teams with financial data, analysis, and reporting needs
  • Build and maintain a well-structured financial calendar to ensure all reporting and compliance deadlines are met consistently and on time
  • Design and implement a robust two-step approval process for payments
