About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Requirements

• Proficiency in technical accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with general ledger accounting and double entry bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with payroll systems and procedures.
• Strong mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience using accounting software.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards.
• Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
• Conduct general ledger reconciliation to ensure all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Prepare financial reports as needed for management review.
• Support month-end closing processes by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
